OK, what's the fuss about Organic Cotton?  Organic means not using GM seeds, which are actually cheaper, not using pesticides, and chemical fertiliser.  This means the cotton and the surrounding soil is free from chemicals, and the bugs are free to keep buzzing away.  Production is chemical free as well.

Organic farmers tend to be smaller producers, which means less money to large cooperates and more to the more independent farms.

I don't use a lot of cotton, as the other alternatives I use are as good and bit more exciting, but I do find the thread is very good (linen thread seems to snap and I wouldn't use polyester)

You know what cotton is like, organic is just a higher quality, more environmentally friendly and farmer fair material.  Use Organic Cotton if you're going to use Cotton.
